HOW DO I USE THE FTM FOR STP (STAND TO PEE)?

To use the FTM for pee, hold the scrotum of the FTM with the base of your palm and press gently against your lower body to form a complete seal around your genitalia area. Pee slowly to allow urine to flow through the FTM shaft and expel through the tip. For a start, you need to control the pressure of your urine. If you are using the FTM with a full bladder, be sure not to release your urine with full force. Pee, hold and pee again so that urine does not build up and overflow in the funnel causing leakage to happen. For trial, you can let running water into the FTM funnel to observe the flow rate of water out to the tip. This way, you'll have a better understanding how the FTM can work perfectly for you. Remember to lean slightly forward such that the funnel is position on a more downwards angle to prevent backflow due to gravity. It is very simple to use, as easy as aim and shoot. Take note of the following 4 most important points:
1) Make sure you position the FTM such that your pee is directly into the hole of the funnel or at a slightly higher point of the hole. This way the pee is expel directly out to the pee hole instead of building up in the funnel causing leakage.
2) Control the flow of your pee. If you pee too fast and furious, the pee cannot expel fast enough causing pee to build up in the funnel and leakage will likely occur.
3) Position yourself in a body leaning forward style so that the pee flow is forward into the funnel instead of flowing backwards and spilled out. The best way is to pee, hold (to let the urine expel), pee again, hold and repeat the same sequence.
4) Do not press the cup of the funnel too hard onto your genitalia area such that it flattens the funnel. You should hold the FTM lightly against your body and still maintain the cup of the funnel to allow for pee flow before being expel out at the tip.
If you keep in mind these 4 important points and follow the instructions provided, you should be able to enjoy the product. If you are using a harness with your FTM, you should position the FTM by moving it at the waistband point of the harness (so that the whole of the FTM is moved) instead of pulling the FTM at the scrotum point to position it, which can cause tension at the joint and over time will result in the silicone ripping at the joint between the shaft and scrotum.
